Backing Up Libraries

Step-by-step

  • You will need a flash or thumb drive, or you could burn a CD.
  • Start InspectVue Library Editor.
  • Click on Tools.
  • Click on Backup libraries and reference files...
  • In the Backup dialog box, click on Backup MASTER Library.
  • In the Save As dialog box, choose a location, like your flash drive, to save to.
  • Type in a name for the file, such as Master06202014 (using a date on the end).
  • Click Save
  • If you have other libraries, you would repeat this process, choosing Backup OTHER Library, with each.

Adding Additional Bedrooms

Step-by-step

  • Highlight the category you want to copy
  • Click the copy icon
  • Enter a new category name and click copy
  • Click "Yes" to save to your Library - or -
  • Click "No" to save only to your current report
  • Don't forget to place a check in the narrative box and edit the text to reflect your changes

Adding A Logo

Step-by-step

  • You will need image editing software
  • Ensure that the image you will be using for your logo is the correct size and resolution.
  • 1 inch high by 6 inchs wide at 96 DPI
  • Open your file browser
  • Go to C:\
  • Click on ProgramData
  • Click on Porter Valley Software
  • Click on InspectVue R4
  • Rename _Company Logo 1x6.JPG to
    Company Logo 1x6.JPG
  • Edit image to include your logo
  • Save File
  • Print/Preview you report as normal
